Brenda Maxon

Manager, Southwest Development
ZERO Prostate Cancer
Blonde woman wearing a black and white blouse

Brenda joins the ZERO team from El Paso, Texas to help serve her area as the Development Manager of ZERO’s Southwest Chapter.

After more than fifteen years in nonprofit fundraising, education, and strategic development (including time at Susan G. Komen and the Alzheimer’s Association), Brenda comes to ZERO with the goal of making a difference and to bring education and awareness into communities that will save lives. Her passion for wanting to end prostate cancer comes from that drive to make a difference and from friends affected by the disease.

When she’s not driving development in her chapter, Brenda loves to read, watch movies (especially documentaries), do yoga, travel, spend time with family and friends, attend live concerts, and help out in her community through volunteer work. Brenda’s words to live by come from Jackie Robinson: “A life is not important except in the impact it has on other lives.”
