2024 Advocacy Summit

The ZERO Summit is the biggest and most impactful meeting in the movement to end prostate cancer. Held annually in Washington, D.C., the ZERO Summit is all about making change.

In 2024, all Summit attendees will spend Monday in education and advocacy training sessions that will fully prepare them to spend Tuesday on Capitol Hill, sharing their story with elected officials to make a difference in prostate cancer policy.

In-person registration is $60. This includes attendance, materials, breakfast Monday and Tuesday, and lunch on Monday throughout the event. The registration fee does not include airfare or hotel room.

Yes! ZERO has reserved a block of discounted rooms for attendees to stay on-site at the venue where the Summit will be hosted. The 2024 ZERO Prostate Cancer Summit will be held at the Westin Alexandria Old Town, in Alexandria’s historic district, just across the river from the Capital.

Attendees can take advantage of this discounted rate by using this special link to reserve a room at the Westin - Old Town Alexandria no later than January 16 (or until all available rooms in the block have been reserved). To reserve your room, you will need to provide a credit card number to hold your place, but payment will not be charged until you arrive at the hotel. Attendees who would like to be connected with a roommate to reduce their hotel costs can email summit@zerocancer.org.

All Summit attendees are strongly encouraged to be vaccinated against COVID and other communicable diseases. ZERO complies with all state and local mitigation guidance, as well as directives from the CDC, to reduce the spread of COVID-19. Participants agree to comply with these preventative measures and any additional health and safety guidelines that may be required, including by any Conference venue.

We recognize that choosing to share your story on behalf of prostate cancer patients across the country can be a costly endeavor. ZERO staff is available to help attendees find ways to help resource their trip. When registering, check the box “Do you require financial aid to attend the Summit?” and our team will discuss options with you to offset your travel expenses.

The Bold for Blue Awards occur annually at the Summit on Sunday evening and honors the year’s top fundraisers across all of ZERO’s events and programs. The award ceremony will be fun, lively, and entertaining for all, and will feature live speeches, performances, and more - and it’ll be livestreamed for our community around the country. Everyone attending the Summit is welcome to attend the Bold for Blue Awards. Volunteer leaders and top fundraisers are recognized and rewarded for their impact on ZERO's mission. This event is a celebration and we encourage you to wear blue for the cause and add to the festivities. You won’t want to miss it!

The Impact Award honors changemakers in the prostate cancer space and are selected by ZERO’s Board of Directors. The nominating period closes on November 1.
