If you know the song “We’re Not Gonna Take It,” you know Jay Jay French. He's the guitarist and founding member of “Twisted Sister,” the band that rocked the airwaves with this ‘80s anthem. Over the years, the meaning of this song has evolved for him. Today, he fights for something that’s affected his life and family—prostate cancer.

Judas Priest vocalist Rob Halford underwent a prostatectomy in July 2020 to remove cancerous growths, and then a series of radiation treatments in early 2021 before receiving the "all clear" by doctors. Despite his remission, he says he wishes he had listened to his doctors early. Halford now spends time opening up about his prostate cancer journey and spreading the message that early detection saves lives.
