In the Top 10 for Third Consecutive Year

Washington, D.C., April 5, 2019 – For the sixth consecutive year, ZERO – The End of Prostate Cancer has been named one of The Nonprofit Times’ “Top 50 Best Nonprofits to Work For.” This is the third consecutive year in the top 10 and the sixth time in the top 50.
“It takes a team commitment to a winning culture of humble, hungry, and smart rock stars to earn this kind of ranking for six consecutive years,” said ZERO CEO and President Jamie Bearse. “Our staff is willing to trust one another in a high responsibility and high freedom atmosphere in order to generate impact for prostate cancer patients and families and create a great place to work.”
Workplace flexibility, feeling appreciated and longtime leadership are all factors that made up this year’s ratings. ZERO’s Jamie Bearse has been president and CEO for more than six years and has been with the organization for more than 16 years. And all members of the leadership team have been with the organization for more than five years, demonstrating a high level of continuity and stability that’s rare in many workplaces.
Providing critical patient support programs, protecting research funding, and raising awareness and funds through the only national run/walk series dedicated to prostate cancer are just a few of the things ZERO’s dedicated employees work toward each day.
