More Precise Imaging of Prostate Cancer Could Give Insight into Drug Effectiveness

Researchers and physicians need better ways to image prostate cancer and monitor the effectiveness of hormone therapy. They demonstrated that an antibody called 11B6 binds to a protein, called hK2, which is secreted only by prostate cells. This could provide a better way to track prostate cancer spread to other tissues and determine sooner if hormone therapy has stopped working. Read more.
