This panel from our 2024 Summit brought together leaders across prostate cancer organizations to discuss decreasing disparities, especially for Black men. Moderator Courtney Bugler leads a solutions-oriented talk on barriers around screening, diagnosis, stigma, and access to quality care.

Panelists share current initiatives on education, community outreach, clinical trials, research, and policy that aim to improve outcomes. The group emphasizes collaboration across groups and empowering advocates to hold health systems accountable. They offer tangible ways attendees can drive change locally—from legislative advocacy to pipeline programs to bringing new voices to the table.

As Dr. Charles Ryan says, "Cancer is not a partisan issue." Together, we must eliminate inequities because progress for one group uplifts everyone.
