Siafa Tolbert Coordinator, Human Resources ZERO Prostate Cancer From warm Orlando, Florida, Siafa joins ZERO as the Human Resource Coordinator. His past professional experiences primarily revolved around recruiting and customer service, where he honed his skills as a dedicated recruiter and communicating effectively with people from all walks of life. In his new role at ZERO, he plays a pivotal part in overseeing a spectrum of HR functions and he's eager to support the ZERO team in any way he can. Siafa’s educational background includes pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business from the University of Central Florida, with a major in Integrated Business, and he is set to graduate in December 2023. Siafa also holds an APHR Cerification.Siafa was inspired to work at ZERO after learning about difficulties faced by patients from his fiance, a radiation therapist. It opened his eyes to the reality of cancer treatment and how often treatments are “palliative” instead of “ curative”. His daily exposure to palliative cancer treatments through his fiance’s work has fueled his desire to contribute to shifting more treatments from palliative to curative, making a world of difference to patients and himself. He considers himself fortunate to have discovered ZERO and its noble mission. Working for ZERO simultaneously allows him to fulfill his passion for HR while making a profound impact in the fight against prostate cancer.In his spare time, Siafa is a proud parent of 2 “fuzzy boys”, his Australian Shepherd and his Terrier Mix.
