Quincy Newson Manager, Regional Development ZERO Prostate Cancer Quincy Newson is ZERO’s dynamic Manager of Southeast Chapter Development. With an impressive nine-year track record in the non-profit sector, including roles at ALSAC, St. Jude and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, Quincy brings a wealth of experience in high-impact fundraising and community engagement.Quincy's passion for making a difference is both personal and professional. As a Black male, he has witnessed the disproportionate impact of prostate cancer in his community, losing both family members and close friends to the disease. This personal connection fuels his commitment to ZERO's mission, making his work not just a career but a calling.In his own words, "I want to be that voice... I want to be that light that helps others overcome and fight this deadly disease." Quincy is driven by a mentor's advice to find work he's so passionate about he'd do it for free, but he does it so well people pay him for it.” At ZERO, he's found that perfect intersection of passion and purpose.In his role, Quincy is responsible for driving high-impact peer-to-peer fundraising, managing a diverse portfolio of donors, champions, corporations, and advocates. He'll also spearhead the planning and execution of the Southwest walk/run events, implement innovative strategies to attract new supporters and drive revenue. His goal is to strengthen ZERO's presence in community events by cultivating relationships with current and new sponsors, as well as building meaningful connections with donors, fundraisers, patients, and their families.Quincy earned his degree in Nonprofit Leadership from the University of Memphis, providing him with a strong foundation for his career in the charitable sector.
