As the Southwest Manager of Field Development, Jamie Aiken will leverage twenty years experience in partnership engagement, management, and strategic planning experience in the nonprofit sector to drive growth in California and Arizona.  She has a rich history of successfully launching growth campaigns, designing initiatives, managing relationships, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful services.

Prior to ZERO, Jamie served as the Mountain & Pacific Coast Regional Manager for the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition.  At NOCC, she was responsible for increasing community engagement with the general public, healthcare and corporate communities throughout thirteen southwest states.  While building strong relationships she provided survivor and family support, promoted national programs and initiates, functioned as a resource hub and led educational and signature events designed to expand the importance of women’s health and awareness regarding ovarian cancer.  Additionally, her wheelhouse includes executive leadership at Playworks and ASU’s Camp Tontozona.

Jamie is entrepreneurial by nature with a passion for advocacy.  She is dedicated to reducing Arizona’s cancer burden and ensuring equity of care in smaller communities.  As a civic leader, volunteers and serves on boards such as Teal It Up Ovarian Cancer Coalition and the Arizona Cancer Coalition where she chairs the Survivorship and Quality of life workgroup.

Beyond her professional life, typical Jamie is always attempting to perfect the art of multitasking.  Her other passions include spending time with her family, spending time outdoors, decorating and baking.  She is an eternal optimist who finds weathered old homes beautiful and her personal motto is Amor Fati.
