AJ Ware joins ZERO Prostate Cancer as the Director of Corporate Partnerships, bringing a diverse background and a wealth of experience to his role. Based in Apex, North Carolina, AJ is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive partnership strategy to expand corporate support and advance the organization's mission to end prostate cancer.

Prior to joining ZERO, AJ served as the Director of Business Development for Richard Petty Motorsports, where he secured sponsors and managed accounts for the team's NASCAR operations. His career also includes service in the U.S. Marine Corps and as a U.S. Embassy bodyguard in Manila, Philippines, experiences that have honed his adaptability, leadership skills, and ability to navigate complex situations.

AJ's passion for ending prostate cancer stems from his personal journey, having been diagnosed with the disease in 2020. This life-changing experience fueled his determination to combine his professional skills with his mission to make a difference in the lives of those impacted by prostate cancer. He considers himself fortunate to have discovered ZERO, where he can fulfill his passion for partnerships while contributing to the fight against this devastating disease.

AJ earned his degree in Criminal Justice from Durham Tech. In his free time, he enjoys exploring nature and serves as a certified weather spotter, providing valuable data to meteorologists in news studios. Growing up in a bed and breakfast, he became accustomed to waking up with new faces in the house every day, an experience that undoubtedly contributed to his adaptability and people skills.

With his unique blend of professional expertise, personal resilience, and dedication to the cause, AJ is poised to make a significant impact as part of the ZERO Prostate Cancer team, working towards creating a world without prostate cancer.
