Podcast Series One – Sex After Prostate Cancer
The prostate gland is a key component in the male reproductive system. Thus, prostate cancer can have serious implications on a man’s sexual health. Long-term or lifelong side effects from the disease and/or its treatments include erectile dysfunction, loss of sex drive, infertility, or other hormone-related issues.
Prostate cancer patients and survivors often feel shame around side effects that result from prostate cancer and/or its treatments. When those side effects impact sexual health or virility, feelings of shame and embarrassment are amplified. This podcast series will shine a light on these topics, and help men understand that they’re not alone.
In the debut episode, ZERO President and CEO Jamie Bearse is joined by Emmy-award winning NBA analyst and host Glenn Consor. Consor, a prostate cancer survivor, talks candidly about his experience of sex after prostate cancer. Listen now! Click here for a PDF transcript of this podcast.
