Just six months after a divorce, Jon Di Gesu was confronted with a prostate cancer diagnosis. Throughout his journey, he discovered a startling scarcity of resources tailored for single men grappling with this disease. And as if that weren't challenging enough, he also encountered numerous uphill battles while searching for love once more. Jon's resilience and determination inspire us to address these unmet needs and support those facing similar challenges.

Jon Di Gesu, Prostate Cancer Survivor

Jon Di Gesu is a marketing consultant and an Adjunct Professor of Marketing at the University of New Hampshire. After being diagnosed with prostate cancer in January 2015, he had a robotic prostatectomy in March 2015 and has been an active supporter of ZERO ever since. He has participated in the ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk – Boston and also attended ZERO’s Summit in 2016 and 2017. Jon is the father of three adult daughters and the grandfather of two rambunctious boys. Jon met his partner Francine in November 2016 and they’ve been together ever since. Francine works in aviation publishing and they live together in the Boston area.
