Black Men’s Prostate Cancer Initiative The Black Men’s Prostate Cancer Initiative is ZERO’s initiative that provides prostate cancer education resources and support groups for Black men. Some of the programing that falls under this initiative includes support groups and a podcast series. Black Men’s Prostate Cancer Initiative: Support Groups The Black Men’s Prostate Cancer Initiative support groups provide prostate cancer education resources and support specifically for Black men diagnosed with prostate cancer. Our support groups under this initiative are currently fully remote, with the group being led by two licensed mental health professionals. The group meets on the 2nd and 4th Monday each month at 8:00 p.m. EST | 7:00 p.m. CST | 5:00 p.m. PST via Zoom. Our first podcast episode was an introduction to the Black Men’s Prostate Cancer Initiative support group and the leaders of that group.
