In 2024, Bayer was the top fundraising team among all our national Run/Walk sponsors, raising over $52,000 across all events. The Bayer team was highly engaged, with a team captain for every Run/Walk in 2024. Their 'Prostate Singing Assassins: Battle of the Brands' competition was a hit, challenging teammates to perform a karaoke song of their choice. This creative fundraiser brought in over $7,000. Additionally, the Bayer team showed up in full force at the North Jersey race, bringing 63 participants and raising over $24,000 for this event alone. Special shout-out to Rebecca Cowens-Alvarado, Nicole Bassett, Nancy Perez, Marcello Tosti, and Courtney Tse for all of their hard work. Watch Pfizer Oncology Pfizer’s long-time support of ZERO’s mission has made a significant impact by providing resources and support for patients and their families, raising over $27,000 for the 2024 Run/Walk Series.Team Pfizer’s participation in the Run/Walk season is a testament to their dedication. Pfizer had 279 participants across all events, the highest number among all our National Run/Walk sponsors. At the New York City event, Pfizer showed up with 146 participants and raised over $4,500. Congratulations to Sherri May Rogers, Sue Hensley, Marianne Gandee, Kristin Olson, and Aysegul Bozkurt for their hard work! Watch Baird Since 2017, Baird has teamed up with ZERO for our Grow & Give campaign. Team Novembeard’s organizing members, their 'Beard of Directors,' have a personal connection to prostate cancer and have worked together to raise awareness and funds in the fight to end the disease. Every year, their 'Beardos,' many of whom share a similar connection, join the fundraising efforts. Team Captain Warren Macey ensured his team stayed motivated while adding fun to the fundraising efforts of his coworkers, raising over $25,000 in 2024 for ZERO. With a lifetime total impact of $250,000, we can’t wait to see what stache-tastic plan Warren and his team have in store for us this year! Watch
