The Department of Urology at UVA is located in the West Complex of the UVA Medical Center, which is near the heart of downtown Charlottesville. The West Complex is a large, square-shaped, red brick building.

Free prostate cancer screenings are performed by a urologist in the U.Va. Urology Department, in September of each year. Parking in the hospital garage on Lee Street and on Hospital Drive will be free that day.  A hospital shuttle will run between the parking garage and the Urology Department entrance on Hospital Drive that morning in case you bring a disabled friend or relative.   In the past, most men arrived in the first 1 l/2 hours of screening, so to minimize your…
