The New Jersey Cancer Education and Early Detection (NJCEED) Program at Virtua is a cancer screening program for Burlington and Camden County residents who meet certain age and income requirements. To enroll in the program, you must be between the ages of 21 to 64, uninsured or underinsured, and not able to pay for the screenings you need.

Provides free physical exams to adults ages 64 or younger who do not have health insurance or have catastrophic-only health insurance that does not pay for preventive or primary care. Patients must meet clinic's income guidelines. Appointment preferred, but will see walk-ins as time permits for the Thursday evening clinic. Must have an appointment for Monday morning clinic.

Free prostate cancer screenings are performed by a urologist in the U.Va. Urology Department, in September of each year.

Parking in the hospital garage on Lee Street and on Hospital Drive will be free that day. A hospital shuttle will run between the parking garage and the Urology Department entrance on Hospital Drive that morning in case you bring a disabled friend or relative. In the past, most men arrived in the first 1 1/2 hours of screening, so to minimize your waiting time, consider arriving after 8:15 a.m.

The Urology Department is located in the West Clinics, 2nd Floor (Old Ground Floor) of Hospital West (signs will be posted giving you directions to the Department of Urology).

The CEED Program is located at Cape May County Department of Health. The Health Department is located in the Crest Haven Complex at Exit 11 on the Garden State Parkway.

To be eligible for free clinical screening services, persons must have an income of no more than 250 percent above the poverty level.

The Camden County Screening Project at MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper is part of the New Jersey Cancer Education and Early Detection (NJCEED) Program, which is funded by the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services and ScreenNJ, a statewide program in partnership with the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey, the NJ Department of Health, and healthcare and community organizations across New Jersey.
