Frequently Asked Questions

Who should take this survey?

We invite you to participate if you are a prostate cancer patient, survivor, person at risk, caregiver, or healthcare professional. You must be at least 21 years old to participate.

What will I do, and how long will it take?

If you choose to join, you will answer one online survey asking about your health history, care experiences, healthcare barriers, and basic background information. It takes about 20 minutes to finish.

Is my information private and anonymous?

Yes. This survey is completely private and anonymous. We do not ask for your name, phone number, or computer IP address. No one can link your answers back to you.

At the end of the survey, you can choose to provide your email address for future studies. If you do, it is stored entirely separate from your survey answers so your identity stays hidden.

Are there any risks or benefits?

There is no direct personal reward, health benefit, or financial payment for joining. Study risks are very low. However, some questions ask about your medical past or feelings, which may make you feel uncomfortable. You can stop the survey at any time.

Who is conducting and funding this study?

This study is conducted by ZERO Prostate Cancer. The Study Lead is Michael D. Hall, PhD, Director of Measurement & Evaluation at ZERO Prostate Cancer.
