"I appreciate the difficulty he had in announcing it. In a perfect world, I'd like to think he would approach the president and said [to him] 'I have a problem.'" Lane is currently cancer-free and volunteers at a place he says helped him stay alive: Urology Specialists of the Carolinas."A lot of times, these gentlemen have just learned in last 15-20 minutes they're stage 4.
