ZERO Prostate Cancer Launches National 2025 Run/Walk Series to Unite Communities and Save Lives

ALEXANDRIA, VIRGINIA— As National Prostate Cancer Awareness Month gets underway, ZERO Prostate Cancer (ZERO), the nation’s leading prostate cancer organization, is proud to launch its 2025 Run/Walk Series, a coast-to-coast movement uniting communities in the fight to end prostate cancer. This year’s series kicks off on September 6 in Houston, Texas; New York; and St. Louis, Missouri, before spanning cities across 25 US cities and concluding on November 8 in South Florida. At every stop, patients, survivors, caregivers, families, and supporters will gather to celebrate lives saved, honor those we’ve lost; and strengthen the call for greater awareness, equity and access to care.

The ZERO Run/Walk Series is more than just an event, it’s a lifeline for many. With every step, participants help drive critical funding for ZERO’s patient-centered programs from free PSA Testing and financial assistance to MENtorship, caregiver support, and education. These gatherings also serve as safe, empowering spaces where all those affected by prostate cancer can connect with others who understand their journey, building community and resilience. "Prostate cancer remains one of the most urgent men’s health crises of our time, and far too many lives are lost too soon,” said Courtney Bugler, President and CEO of ZERO Prostate Cancer. “OurRun/Walk Series is proof of what’s possible when communities come together, when survivors are celebrated, caregivers are supported, and awareness is amplified in neighborhoods across the nation. Together with the extraordinary commitment of our national sponsors AbbVie and Bayer, we are saving lives and moving closer to a future where no man dies from prostate cancer.”

Each Run/Walk features:

  • A run/walk course accessible to all abilities

  • A powerful Celebration Ceremony honoring survivors and remembering loved ones lost

  • Educational resources and health information designed to empower men and families with life-saving knowledge

  • Sponsor Villages highlighting the contributions of national and local partners

AbbVie and Bayer share our commitment to ensuring no one faces prostate cancer alone. Their support ensures our Run/Walk Series is impactful.
