This landmark legislation takes a critical step forward in ensuring that veterans battling prostate cancer, the most common cancer diagnosis among those who have served, receive the advanced, personalized care they have earned.Veterans face a disproportionate risk of prostate cancer due to service-related exposures, and African American veterans bear an especially heavy burden, with twice the diagnosis rate and twice the mortality of their peers.
