Bognanno, President & CEO at Community Health Charities. They join a growing robust and talented board of directors with diverse medical, nonprofit, and advocacy experience. “Dr. Moses and Mr. Bognanno are both extraordinary leaders in their respective medical and nonprofit communities and we are incredibly fortunate to have them fighting by our side to end prostate cancer,” said ZERO CEO Jamie Bearse. “Kelvin’s expertise will enable us better understand prostate cancer’s effects on families while Tom’s experience will help us make a greater impact in the nonprofit business space.”A member of ZERO’s Medical Advisory Board, Dr. Moses serves as an Assistant Professor of Urology in the Department of Urologic Surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He received both his M.D. and a Ph.D from the Baylor College of Medicine and is a foremost expert on prostate cancer in the African American community as well as the topic of cancer disparities in the United States. In his role on the Medical Advisory Board, Dr. Moses is a frequent speaker at the ZERO Annual Advocacy Summit, discussing topics ranging from what high-risk men should know about the disease to sexual health after treatment.Thomas Bognanno is a prostate cancer survivor and has been the President and CEO of Community Health Charities since January 2006. He is a career nonprofit executive and the catalyst for bringing Community Health Charities to the next level with innovative programs that focus on employee engagement, workplace giving campaigns, and health resources. In his role he utilizes his decades of experience and expertise to define strategic direction and increase income for Community Health Charities’ member organizations. Prior to his current position, Tom spent 20 years with the American Diabetes Association.
