The most amazing thing for me was how many people reached out to me, and now I want to help others as well. So many men have asked me for help, and I want to help them. Diagnosed with prostate cancer just a few years ago, Glenn had a unique experience dealing with a prostate cancer diagnosis while working in the NBA, a community made up of mostly men. Glenn attributes his early diagnosis and treatment to early detection and uses his platform as a sports broadcaster to advocate for cancer awareness and early detection.In 2018, more than 164,000 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer. That is one in nine men who will be affected - one in nine brothers, husbands, fathers, grandfathers, partners, and friends. The Run/Walk series is poised to raise more than $3M to provide local prostate cancer resources and support this year.
