Thank You For an Impactful Prostate Cancer Awareness Month

Prostate Cancer Awareness Month

Thank you for making Prostate Cancer Awareness Month and ZERO Prostate Cancer Day a success. Because of you, we are advancing toward establishing early detection as a national priority.

  • In September, thousands of prostate cancer patients, survivors, and families came together in more than 20 communities across the country to take part in ZERO's Run/Walk series.
  • ZERO's Prostate Cancer in the Black Community Film Series was showcased in Baltimore, DC, and New York City.
  • In collaboration with the Sylvester Cancer Center, ZERO hosted a free education and screening event in Miami.
  • You made ZERO Prostate Cancer Day a huge success by making it one of our biggest giving days of the year.
  • Hundreds of men took the "Am I At Risk?" Quiz and learned that family history, age, and race are risk factors.
  • And together we successfully advocated for bipartisan legislation removing cost barriers to prostate cancer screening introduced in the Senate.

Thank you for your dedication to the prostate cancer community. We are one step closer to a future free from prostate cancer. Because of you, all those affected by this disease know they are not alone.

Ways to Give

Grow & Give for Prostate Cancer Awareness

Grow & Give

The ZERO Grow & Give campaign launch is just around the corner, with individuals and teams already signed up to have fun while raising lifesaving funds. Grow & Give is a nationwide fundraising and awareness campaign to ZERO out prostate cancer by growing facial hair or rocking a boldly blue style in November.

Last year, 455 boldly blue heroes and 61 teams helped to raise more than $163,000 in critical funds to help patients and families and to bring awareness to the urgent need to end prostate cancer. These efforts played an essential role in providing life-saving resources and personalized assistance to prostate cancer patients and families.

Join the Grow & Give community today and have fun while helping those in need.

We're Not Gonna Take It

We're Not Gonna Take It

During Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, ZERO partnered with Bayer to unveil two powerful videos as part of our "We're Not Gonna Take It!" Campaign.

"We're in This Together!"
When it comes to prostate cancer, no one stands alone. Hear directly from survivors and advocates about what prompted them to get screened.

"Did You Know?"
Prostate cancer disproportionately impacts Black men, with a 70% higher diagnosis rate. Listen to the inspiring journey of David Moffet, a prostate cancer survivor, as he sheds light on the importance of informed decision-making.

These videos are more than just stories; they are beacons of hope and empowerment. Go to zerocancer.org/wngti to learn more about our campaign.

We strive to make all of our materials more accessible to reach as many people as we can.

If you or a loved one has been diagnosed with prostate cancer and need assistance, contact our ZERO360 patient helpline. We are there for you at every step, from diagnosis to survivorship.
