Jump To Jump To Subscribe ZEROHour Prostate Cancer Newsletter October 2, 2023 Thank You For an Impactful Prostate Cancer Awareness Month Thank you for making Prostate Cancer Awareness Month and ZERO Prostate Cancer Day a success. Because of you, we are advancing toward establishing early detection as a national priority. In September, thousands of prostate cancer patients, survivors, and families came together in more than 20 communities across the country to take part in ZERO's Run/Walk series. ZERO's Prostate Cancer in the Black Community Film Series was showcased in Baltimore, DC, and New York City. In collaboration with the Sylvester Cancer Center, ZERO hosted a free education and screening event in Miami. You made ZERO Prostate Cancer Day a huge success by making it one of our biggest giving days of the year. Hundreds of men took the "Am I At Risk?" Quiz and learned that family history, age, and race are risk factors. And together we successfully advocated for bipartisan legislation removing cost barriers to prostate cancer screening introduced in the Senate. Thank you for your dedication to the prostate cancer community. We are one step closer to a future free from prostate cancer. Because of you, all those affected by this disease know they are not alone.
