South AtlanticOn May 20 ZERO's Prostate Cancer in the Black Community Film Series was hosted at Royal Missionary Baptist Church in North Charleston, SC. The Black Walnut by Terrance Afer-Anderson was screened and a panel including medical experts and PCa survivors answered questions from the audience. For more information on the film series click here. The Lowcountry Open Fishing Tournament benefiting ZERO in Charleston, SC will take place on June 10. The Tournament Captain's Party held on June 8, sponsored by Dendreon, is host to the Lowcountry Survivors' Celebration. Dr. Kubinski of the Men's Center will be the mission speaker. Myrtle Beach, SC held its first Tee-Off Against Prostate Cancer on April 23. More than 90 participants came out to support ZERO and the ZERO Us TOO "Strand" Support Group. Thanks to our participants and sponsors over $31,000 was raised.
