Join Wilby to Grow & Give

Wilby's handlebar mustache is more than a conversation starter - it's a powerful message from a man whose journey with prostate cancer began last year. After a successful surgery last November, Wilby says he's healing nicely and starting to warm up to the idea of sharing his story.

"I got a little lucky in finding it early," said Wilby. "I want that for my loved ones and yours."

Wilby is sporting a stylish stache for ZERO's annual Grow & Give fundraising campaign. Grow & Give provides a fun and simple way for company teams, first responder agencies, individuals, and families to come together and take action against prostate cancer every November.

Wilby is already one of our top fundraisers - will you join him and become a fundraiser too?

Connect with Caregivers Like Donna

Connect with Caregivers Like Donna

With decades of experience as a urology nurse, Donna Hollister started a support group for prostate cancer patients in 1993. But five years ago, this disease became even more personal for her family.

"In 2019, my husband was diagnosed with prostate cancer, so I've been able to live on both sides of it," said Donna Hollister. "It kind of turns the table a little bit. We went through the journey together with the erectile dysfunction, with the urinary incontinence, and it's made me more aware of how these men feel."

We're so glad that Donna is coming to our ZERO+One Caregiver Retreat to connect with others who understand the unique challenges of the prostate cancer journey.

Shared Risks of Breast and Prostate Cancer

Shared Risks of Breast and Prostate Cancer

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month - a disease that has more in common with prostate cancer than you might think. One in eight women is diagnosed with breast cancer, while one in eight men is diagnosed with prostate cancer. They are each the second leading cause of cancer deaths for women and men, respectively.

Family history is a risk factor for both diseases, and both cancers disproportionately affect the Black community, with higher rates of young-onset and advanced-stage diagnoses.

This month, we encourage men and women to learn about their family history and discuss screening options with their healthcare providers. Early detection is the best way to get ahead of both diseases.

Eric Morrow knows the impact advocacy and early detection can make in a man's life. After completing treatment for prostate cancer, he asked himself what more he could do to help others.

"This is the most important thing I'm going to do in my life: trying to help men get screened for prostate cancer at younger ages so it's more treatable, and advocating for funding so that new therapies can turn prostate cancer from a disease that can kill to a disease that's treated," said Eric Morrow.

ZERO's Summit is a place where patients and survivors like Eric become powerful advocates by finding a platform to make real change. Join us for the 2025 Prostate Cancer Advocacy Summit in Washington, D.C., from Feb. 2325.

Our early bird registration deadline is now Oct. 13 - don't miss out on the 50% discount!
