Join the 2026 ZERO Peaks Challenges: Machu Picchu and Kilimanjaro Await

We're thrilled to announce the 2026 ZERO Peaks Challenges, offering two incredible adventures: a trek to the ancient Incan citadel of Machu Picchu in June and a return to the majestic Mt. Kilimanjaro next September. These journeys are more than just physical challenges; they are powerful opportunities to connect with a community of prostate cancer survivors, patients, and advocates, all united in advancing ZERO Prostate Cancer's mission of raising awareness, promoting education, and providing unwavering support to make a lasting impact.

Our inaugural Kilimanjaro climb was a resounding success, raising over $500,000 (and counting) while creating lasting bonds among participants. The journey was not only a test of physical endurance but also a profound personal experience, as participants supported each other through every step. As Leo Nunes, a prostate cancer survivor, eloquently put it, "We all face mountains in life. What matters is that we keep faith, hold onto hope, and keep climbing—one step, one breath at a time."

Whether you're an experienced trekker or simply passionate about making a difference, these challenges offer a unique chance to explore breathtaking landscapes while contributing to a meaningful cause.

Need more details about these incredible adventures? Secure your spot now for the 2026 Peru Challenge information session on November 13th or the 2026 Mt. Kilimanjaro information session on December 3rd. Discover all the details you need to make this adventure a life-changing experience.

Running for a Cause: Honoring a Father's Legacy in the NYC Marathon

Running for a Cause: Honoring a Father's Legacy in the NYC Marathon

On November 2nd, Owen Collins laced up his running shoes to take on the TCS New York City Marathon with Team ZERO, driven by a deeply personal mission. He is one of 20 participants who have collectively raised over $75,000 for ZERO Prostate Cancer.

In May 2024, Owen experienced the profound loss of his father after an eight-year battle with prostate cancer. Described as a genius and a kindhearted teacher, Owen's father left an indelible mark on everyone he met, imparting wisdom and kindness that Owen carries forward.

Determined to honor his father's legacy and prevent others from facing similar heartache, Owen dedicated his marathon run to raising awareness and funds for ZERO Prostate Cancer's vital programs.

Feeling inspired to join the cause? Registrations are now open for the 2026 marathons with Team ZERO! Be part of a movement and register before the deadline and contribute to a cause with impact!

From Survivor to Advocate: John Glass's Mission with ZERO

From Survivor to Advocate: John Glass's Mission with ZERO

John Glass's journey with prostate cancer began in 2002 after a routine physical revealed an elevated PSA level. Despite initial skepticism, this discovery led to a life-saving intervention at Johns Hopkins. Since then, John has not only overcome prostate cancer but also faced and defeated melanoma and thyroid cancer. His resilience and gratitude have fueled his commitment to prostate cancer advocacy, particularly through ZERO's Grow Your Own Way campaign. Over the years, John has transformed his personal journey into a mission to raise awareness and funds, inspiring many along the way.

John's fundraising journey began in 2017 with the Movember Foundation, where he first explored community-driven health initiatives. They laid the groundwork for his ongoing dedication to ZERO. John has engaged participants across generations, fostering awareness and encouraging PSA screenings. John's advocacy has led to significant contributions, with his team raising approximately $5,000 over the years. His story is a testament to the impact of personal connection and relentless advocacy.

There is still time to join our Grow Your Own Way campaign and let your creativity flow. Whether you're an individual, a company, or a team, your involvement can make a difference.

Embrace the opportunity to support a cause that affects so many, and be part of a community dedicated to ZERO Stigma, ZERO Barriers. Register now and join a community dedicated to making a lasting impact.

This Veterans Day, we recognize the unique challenges our military heroes face with prostate cancer. Military personnel are twice as likely to be diagnosed with prostate cancer compared to civilians, with nearly 489,000 prostate cancer patients currently in the VA health system. As the most common cancer diagnosis among U.S. Veterans—making up 30% of new cancer cases in the VA—this is a battle we're committed to fighting alongside you.

Visit our dedicated Veterans page at ZERO Prostate Cancer Veterans to access specialized resources created by Veterans, for Veterans. From our comprehensive Veterans Prostate Cancer Guide to educational webinars on VA benefits, we're here to support your journey.
