Our team met with legislators to secure vital support for federal research funding, CDC prevention programs, and VA precision oncology. We were also honored to hear from Rep. Troy Carter (D-LA), pictured, who delivered a powerful call to action on the urgency of men's health. Together, we're ensuring that prostate cancer is a national priority. Take Action Now Join Our Run/Walk Committees—Make an Impact Like Joe Volunteers like Joe Thompson are the heart of our Run/Walk events. As a Sacramento Experience Committee member, Joe promotes the event 2-3 times per month through media appearances, leads a team of 20-25 people, and provides in-kind donations through his catering business—all in memory of his brother John, who passed from prostate cancer at age 61. We're planning our 2026 events and would love your help making them even better. Alongside key legislators and partners like Morehouse School of Medicine and City of Hope, we championed HB 373—landmark legislation to mandate insurance coverage for risk-based PSA screenings. We didn't just talk about change; we delivered it. While advocates walked the halls, ten men received onsite PSA screenings, turning policy into immediate, life-saving action.
