Introducing Our 2026 Patient and Caregiver Advisory Board

PCAB Banner

We are proud to announce the 11 dedicated individuals selected for our new Patient and Caregiver Advisory Board. These members bring vital lived experience as patients and caregivers to help shape and enhance our core mission work. They will provide insights on support programs, identify service gaps, and advise on new initiatives over their two-year terms.

The board reflects the diverse communities we serve, featuring members from across the country: Vivian Averu, JC Edelberg, Esther Mateo Orr, Bob Parker, Henry Russo, Mike Sample-Diehl, Charles Thomas Jr., Kevin Walsh, Sanford Weinberg, Ronald Young, and John Zazyczny. By collaborating with our staff, these volunteers ensure the patient voice remains at the heart of everything we do. We look forward to the valuable perspectives they will contribute as we work together to support the prostate cancer community.

Honor a Loved One This Valentine’s Day

Honor a Loved One

Prostate cancer is personal—it affects our brothers, fathers, and friends. This Valentine's Day, honor someone you love by creating a fundraiser that provides real support to patients, survivors, and families.

Whether you're celebrating a survivor, supporting someone in treatment, or remembering someone you've lost, your fundraiser helps connect people with early detection services, financial resources, and the support they need most.

Getting started takes just a few minutes. Create your personalized page, share their story, and watch your impact grow.

The Most Impactful Event in Prostate Cancer is Next Month: 2026 ZERO Prostate Cancer Advocacy Summit

ZERO Prostate Cancer Summit 2026

February 22-24 marks our most powerful gathering yet—the 2026 ZERO Prostate Cancer Advocacy Summit in Washington, D.C. This isn't just an event; it's where your story drives life-saving change.

Join advocates from across the country at the Hilton Washington D.C. Capitol Hill for three transformative days. We begin Sunday with the Bold for Blue Awards ceremony, continue Monday with intensive advocacy training from leading experts, and culminate Tuesday with face-to-face meetings on Capitol Hill to protect research funding and improve screening access.

As advocate Darrell Wilson shares, "I am living proof that advocacy saves lives." Whether you're a first-time advocate or seasoned veteran, your voice matters in making prostate cancer a national priority. ZERO handles all legislative meeting scheduling—you just show up and share your story.
