We are especially looking forward to National Volunteer Week (April 19-25), a tradition since 1974 that recognizes the diverse ways people lead value-driven lives—whether by donating their time at a local food bank, sharing their voices online, or taking everyday actions to tackle society's greatest challenges. At ZERO, our mission is fueled by the passion of our community, and we are thrilled to spend the entire month showing our deep appreciation for our 2,000+ incredible volunteers who work tirelessly to build a more vibrant, equitable future and drive us closer to ending prostate cancer.

Peaks Challenge Spotlight: Leo's Journey Continues Last year, Leo Nunes summited Mount Kilimanjaro with ZERO's Peaks Challenge—a milestone that showed the world that a prostate cancer diagnosis does not define what's possible. As a survivor and advocate, Leo climbed to raise awareness and inspire people impacted by prostate cancer to keep moving forward. Now, Leo and his wife, Brandy, are taking on a new adventure in 2026: trekking to Machu Picchu where they'll follow the historic trails of the Andes. Run With Purpose: Meet Rob's Crew This November, five Heathwood Hall ('95) classmates will reunite at the TCS New York City Marathon to honor a lifelong friend. After seeing prostate cancer affect someone they've known since elementary school, they're turning friendship into action—running 26.2 miles to support people impacted by prostate cancer.
