The 2027 ZERO Prostate Cancer Advocacy Summit Brings Advocates Together

ZERO Advocates

At ZERO Prostate Cancer, we are calling on our community to join us for our most impactful event of the year: the 2027 ZERO Prostate Cancer Advocacy Summit. Scheduled for February 21–23, 2027, in Washington, D.C., this multi-day event brings together patients, survivors, caregivers, and allies to fight for policies that benefit everyone impacted by this disease.

Advocacy is a cornerstone of our mission, and we know that real change happens when we stand together. During the Summit, our attendees will learn from the best minds in the medical field about the development of new diagnostics, breakthroughs in research, and emerging treatments. Together, we will build an unstoppable force to support one another and gain strength from connecting with peers who share the same hardships.

The centerpiece of our Summit involves taking direct action on Capitol Hill. We will equip our advocates to engage face-to-face with elected officials to ensure prostate cancer becomes and remains a national priority. Our legislative goals are clear: we are fighting to protect and expand billions of dollars in crucial research funding, break down barriers to testing, improve access to quality care, and protect Veterans alongside other high-risk men.

As Bishop Dr. Eddie Wright, an advocate joining us this year, explains, "That is why I meet with my elected representatives at the ZERO Summit to ensure that high-risk populations, such as Black men, can get tested early for prostate cancer with the fewest barriers possible".

The real-world impact of this legislative work is life-changing. Darrell Wilson, a prostate cancer patient and advocate, credits these efforts directly: "On Capitol Hill, ZERO advocates for increased funding for prostate cancer research, research which is keeping me alive. I am living proof that advocacy saves lives, and now I pay it forward by advocating at the Summit".

We need your voice to help us build on the wins our community has achieved. We invite you to make history with us and ensure that research, early detection, and quality treatments are protected for decades to come.
