2026 Virtual Education & Support Conference Highlights Education, Empowerment, and Survivorship

The 2026 Virtual Education & Support Conference brought together patients, survivors, caregivers, advocates, and healthcare professionals for three days of education, connection, and support across every stage of the prostate cancer journey.

The conference opened with a focus on lived experience and resilience, featuring a conversation with Super Bowl-winning coach and prostate cancer survivor Bruce Arians. Attendees also learned about prostate cancer diagnosis, the care team, and strategies for advocating for the best possible care.

Day two focused on making informed decisions. Leading experts shared insights on treatment options for early-stage and advanced prostate cancer, while interactive breakout sessions explored topics including active surveillance, surgery and radiation, recurrent disease, biomarker testing, radioligand therapy, and supportive care. Discussions also highlighted emerging innovations and the importance of reducing barriers to screening, diagnosis, and treatment.

The final day focused on survivorship and quality of life. Sessions addressed rehabilitation and exercise, nutrition, and managing treatment-related side effects such as erectile dysfunction and incontinence. Breakout discussions covered mental health, spirituality, caregiving, ADT side effects, veterans' health, LGBTQ+ support, and sexual health.

The conference concluded with an inspiring fireside chat featuring patient advocate Kevin Martin, who shared his personal journey and reflected on finding strength, purpose, and hope after a prostate cancer diagnosis.

Across all three days, the conference provided attendees with practical information, valuable resources, and meaningful connections designed to support informed decision-making, survivorship, and overall well-being.
