Video: My New and Unexpected Prostate Cancer Journey

Chris Hartley from his video on YouTube

Chris Hartley, a longtime ZERO MENtor and prostate cancer survivor based in Austin, TX, announced earlier this summer that his cancer has unfortunately come back. Hartley was first diagnosed with prostate cancer three years ago at age 43, and shortly thereafter underwent prostate surgery, hormone deprivation therapy, and radiation treatment. A husband, a father, and a marathon runner, Hartley's perseverance in the face of prostate cancer has been nothing short of inspiring.

Hartley has documented his cancer journey through a series of personal and educational vlogs on YouTube, showing all the ups and downs of the treatment process. Watch his latest video below to learn more about his recurrence and what's next for Chris and his family.

Hartley has also written blogs for ZERO and was featured on ZERO's Uncensored Podcast with Jamie Bearse.
