ZERO’s State Advocacy Priorities

Since the largest groups of high-risk patients are on private insurance, ZERO’s first priority is to require private insurance coverage for prostate cancer screening without out-of-pocket costs for high-risk patients. This is the state version of our PSA for HIM bill - which we call a “No-Cost PSA State Bill.” The No-Cost PSA State Bill cuts out-of-pocket costs for prostate cancer screening for high-risk patients, and may also cover follow up testing at no cost to high-risk patients  See below comparison chart to learn more about the difference between our federal PSA for HIM Act, and our No-Cost PSA State Bills.
