ZERO Partners with Urology Health Store to Promote Sexual and Urinary Heath for Prostate Cancer Patients

Washington, DC – Many men suffer in silence from the side effects of a prostate cancer diagnosis. ZERO – The End of Prostate Cancer aims to change that by bringing the conversation to the forefront, so that men and their partners can know their options. This October, ZERO partnered with a leading urological medical device company, Urology Health Store, to promote sexual and urinary health for prostate cancer patients and survivors.

Common side effects of prostate cancer are erectile dysfunction and urinary incontinence. These side effects can affect couples together; it is important that couples get the help they need. The Urology Health Store provides an array of high-quality OTC urology products (medperuomo), such as the vacuum erection system, designed to help men manage these side effects.

“The conversation about prostate cancer is already tough for many men; dialogue about sexual health and dealing with the side effects is even less frequent,” says Drew Saelens, VP of Government Relations & Patient Advocacy at ZERO. “We’re excited to partner with Urology Health Store to encourage conversation and potential solutions to address the issues men face as a result of their diagnoses. Our goal is to ensure patients and survivors get holistic support during their prostate cancer journeys, including managing intimacy and incontinence.”

In partnership with ZERO, Urology Health Store will offer a 10 percent discount at checkout and free US shipping ($50 or more) with the special promotional code: ZERO. In addition, 15 percent of all sale proceeds from the promotion will be donated to ZERO to support their mission to end prostate cancer. ZERO is working with urology practices across the nation to help promote this opportunity to their patient communities.

It is important for prostate cancer patients and survivors to have access to information and options. ZERO’s website provides comprehensive educational materials and resources to ensure that sexual health remains part of the conversation throughout a man’s prostate cancer journey.
