Craig Gelfand

Craig Gelfand was born in Burbank, California and grew up in the San Fernando Valley, where he spent the last 35 years of his life working in the entertainment industry, from a talent & literary agency to a major studio and then onto Nickelodeon’s West Coast Promo Department. However, his life changed drastically in 2016, when he was diagnosed with prostate cancer.

After consulting with other men who also suffered from the same illness, he realized that there was a severe lack of awareness of this disease. Then, after counseling a stranger on his prostate cancer diagnosis, Craig was told that his advice had actually saved the person’s life! This became the turning point in Craig’s life, prompting him to make it his mission to raise awareness of prostate cancer, which is highly curable when caught early.
