Non-profit group holds prostate cancer screening events in Manhattan, says early detection is key

In partnership with the 'Blue Jacket Fashion Show,' Mount Sinai, and Carver Bank, nonprofit advocacy group 'ZERO-The End of Prostate Cancer' hosted free prostate cancer screening events for men aged 45 to 79 on Feb. 1. The aim is to break the stigma surrounding prostate cancer and encourage proactive health discussions, especially within Black and Brown communities, where the disease's impact is greater. The events seek to normalize conversations about prostate health and promote early detection to save lives.
