Register for Our Men's Health Month Virtual Education Series

You're invited to our special Men's Health Month event, ZEROing In On Equity Virtual Education Series. This free online event series takes place every Tuesday from 1 to 3 p.m. EDT and is dedicated to bridging gaps in prostate cancer outcomes. It focuses on early detection, genetics and family history, mental health, and sexual health management, with a particular focus on the Black community.

This interactive series is intended for patients, care partners, healthcare providers, and anyone looking to deepen their understanding of prostate cancer management and disparities in cancer care.

Prostate Cancer Advocates Applaud New Screening Law in Tennessee

Governor Bill Lee has signed into law new legislation that will eliminate out-of-pocket costs for high-risk men being screened for prostate cancer and other cancer screenings in Tennessee. Out-of-pocket costs pose barriers to prostate cancer detection and treatment, disproportionately impacting lower-income individuals, people of color, and those with limited healthcare access. These financial burdens exacerbate health disparities and increase risks for vulnerable populations.

Upon receiving Governor Lee's signature, the bill joins similar state initiatives in Kentucky, Illinois, Maryland, New York, Oregon, and Rhode Island, reinforcing the importance of accessible preventive care in combating prostate cancer.
