Grow & Give Social Media Toolkit

Social Media Toolkit | Campaign duration: November 1–30 | #GrowAndGive #ZEROProstateCancer

A white man with a long beard dyed blue wearing a ZERO Champions hat

1-in-8 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer, but together, we can bring that number to ZERO.

Grow & Give is a nationwide fundraising and prostate cancer awareness campaign. It offers a fun and simple way for company teams, first responder agencies, individuals, and families to unite and take bold action against this disease.

In this toolkit, we’ll provide shareable social media content and tips to help you rally your friends, family, and community to join the fight to end prostate cancer.

This initiative gives us the power to make a tangible difference by providing crucial resources and support to patients and their families. It's our way of standing together, showing strength, and taking bold action against a disease that has taken away too much from too many.

Tips

TAG US & OTHERS

  • Tag @ZEROProstateCancer and use the #GrowAndGive hashtag in all your posts.
    • Bonus Tip: follow us to share our #GrowAndGive content too!
  • If you refer to your company, organization, unit, etc., tag them in your post so your colleagues/teammates can share.
  • Always include your personal/team fundraising page link in your posts.

TELL YOUR STORY

  • Whether prostate cancer has touched your life personally or impacted someone you know, our supporters want to know why this cause is important to you. Let them know why you’re participating in GROW & GIVE in a clear and concise way, and ask your friends/family/followers to share!
  • Post on your social media platforms 2–3 times per week.
  • Utilize photos and video (reels) to share fundraising updates or have your friends and family follow your journey as you grow out your hair, wear something blue every day, etc.

GET CREATIVE

  • Raising awareness is half the battle in the fight to end prostate cancer, so give people something to look at! Shave designs into your grown-out hair/beard, add highlights, throw in some glitter, or wear all-blue clothing to top it off. The opportunities are endless!
    • Bonus Tip: Our team is always on the lookout for standout social media posts to select for pop-up prizes!
