Free Prostate Cancer Testing Near You
Access to prostate cancer screening saves lives. To help people across the country find testing near them, we have compiled a national database of active prostate cancer testing sites and events.
Each of the providers, sites, or events in this search tool offer free or low-cost PSA tests at some point throughout the year. Contact the site directly to find out when you can have a free prostate cancer test. Please be aware that testing dates and times may differ based on the provider’s availability and/or may include eligibility guidelines to qualify.
If you don’t see a PSA testing site close to you, that doesn't mean there isn't one. Some healthcare providers may offer free testing that we are not aware of. Please call your provider, or providers near you, to ask if they offer free testing. You can also visit this website to search for Federally-Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) near you that may provide free or reduced screenings.

Free prostate cancer screenings are performed by a urologist in the U.Va. Urology Department, in September of each year.
Parking in the hospital garage on Lee Street and on Hospital Drive will be free that day. A hospital shuttle will run between the parking garage and the Urology Department entrance on Hospital Drive that morning in case you bring a disabled friend or relative. In the past, most men arrived in the first 1 1/2 hours of screening, so to minimize your waiting time, consider arriving after 8:15 a.m.
The Urology Department is located in the West Clinics, 2nd Floor (Old Ground Floor) of Hospital West (signs will be posted giving you directions to the Department of Urology).
