Financial Assistance for Metastatic Prostate Cancer Patients
ZERO – The End of Prostate Cancer is proud to have joined forces with the Patient Access Network Foundation (PAN) for three years to provide comprehensive support for prostate cancer patients in need. In our many conversations with patients, cost is often an obstacle for getting the treatment they need. This program helped change that by providing critical access to financial assistance.
Our partnership from 2013 – 2016 gave more than $183 million dollars in co-pay assistance to more than 48,000 men nationwide with advanced prostate cancer. These numbers can’t begin to represent the lives truly touched by the program in terms of caregivers, family members, and loved ones.
Co-pay recipients had the option of receiving free educational materials from ZERO. These represent some of the best resources available in the prostate cancer sphere. Our educational materials have been shared with doctors, support groups, fathers, sons, and men across the country.
