No One Fights Alone

To be honest, I felt totally alone through my journey. I felt like I didn’t have any support from my doctors with getting direction. I didn’t know of anyone who was going through their own prostate cancer story, and I had to rely on myself to make the correct choices. All while trying to manage the emotions of my spouse and children. The reason that I am involved with ZERO is that I don’t want other men to feel so alone in their journey of fighting for their life while still being responsible for their family.

When I was diagnosed with prostate cancer 14 years ago, I hadn't heard of ZERO. Since then, I have discovered a new family of survivors and advocates, volunteering with ZERO, to help educate and be there for those that are on this journey as well. I am grateful to be a part of this movement.
