Susan Sweat is a driving force empowering ZERO's efforts on Capitol Hill. Sweat trains advocates at the ZERO Summit and in webinars, arranges patient/legislator meetings in D.C., and advises the ZERO team on the best paths to success in protecting research, expanding access to care, engaging with Federal agencies, and more. After two decades of experience as leader of Cornerstone Government Affairs and as a senior staffer for Senator Roger F. Wicker (R-MS) during his service in both the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate, Sweat knows D.C. inside and out.
