Manager, Health Equity
ZERO Prostate Cancer
African American young woman in a red top, Mikhaela Dieudonne

Mikhaela’s extensive public health background makes her the perfect person to lead as ZERO’s Manager of Health Equity. In her previous roles, Mikhaela has been incredibly involved in the COVID-19 pandemic response sector, serving both as a Contact Tracing Manager and Case Investigator. She’s seen firsthand how crucial the role of health equity is in society, and is motivated to help decrease the gaps during her time with ZERO.

Mikhaela earned both a B.S. in Public Health and a B.S. in Biomedical Sciences from the University of South Florida and is currently pursuing her MPH at The George Washington University’s Milken Institute School of Public Health. While in undergrad, she conducted health disparity research as a cancer epidemiology assistant, concentrating specifically on prostate cancer. Mikhaela has been closely affected by cancer due to her having multiple loved ones that have been impacted by the disease. She understands the anxiety, frustration, and pain that many people affected with the disease feel and she strives to provide the much-needed support for those fighting cancer, as well as advocate for the underserved populations that are disproportionately affected by the disease.

In her spare time, Mikhaela enjoys dancing, aerial arts, and rollerskating. One of her favorite pastimes is exploring parks and museums, as well as traveling whenever she gets the opportunity. Click here to connect with Mikhaela about any of ZERO’s Health Equity endeavors.
