Tom Hulsey Tom Hulsey is a prostate cancer survivor, endurance athlete, and champion for ZERO. As a member of Team ZERO, Tom represented ZERO at several high-profile events including the IRONMAN World Championship in Kona in 2016 and raised significant funds to help end the disease. His journey and ability to achieve physical feats have inspired many in the prostate cancer community.Tom is a technology and cyber security professional, as well as a thought leader in cancer survivorship. Diagnosed on his 61st birthday, he utilizes his long-time love for health and fitness to not only compete in endurance events himself, but to mentor new Team ZERO athletes. He also serves as a ZERO spokesman, Social Media Ambassador, active community advocate, volunteers at the Baylor, Scott & White Cancer Health & Wellness Center in Plano, TX, and serves as a Board Member at Dallas-based Mary Crowley Cancer Research. In 2017 he was named a peer reviewer for the Prostate Cancer Research Program at the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs in the Department of Defense.
