Sam Detrick Former Director of Southeast Chapter ZERO Prostate Cancer Sam Detrick was ZERO's amazing Southeast Chapter Director from 2023-2024. Sam came to ZERO with an impressive resume with his previous roles as the Alzheimer’s Association Walk Manager and the American Cancer Society Development Manager to name a few.In his own words, ZERO’s tireless dedication to helping those impacted by prostate cancer is both inspiring and contagious. This position allows him to continue to serve others and bring hope to those who need it most. Sam has personal experience with ZERO’s mission; his dad had prostate cancer. After witnessing his dad’s battle, he became a fierce advocate for prevention and early detection. He’s incredibly happy that his dad won his battle against prostate cancer and it has fueled his passion for helping families deal with the often stressful process.
