Eric Shinohara, MD, MSCI Clinical Vice Chair, Department of Radiation Oncology Vanderbilt University Medical Center Dr. Eric Shinohara is a board-certified radiation oncologist, Associate Professor, and Clinical Vice Chair of the Department of Radiation Oncology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He received his BS in Physiology and Neurobiology from the University of Maryland, then continued his medical education as a graduate of Vanderbilt’s School of Medicine. He completed his medical internship at Abington Memorial Hospital followed by a residency at the University of Pennsylvania.Dr. Shinohara’s clinical and research areas of interest are in tumors of the genitourinary system and sarcomas. He has presented at several international meetings, such as the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO), and has been published in many prominent journals, including Cancer, Cancer Research, and Oncogene.
