Dr. Amy Leader Amy Leader, DrPH, MPH, is an Associate Professor of Population Science in the Department of Medical Oncology at Thomas Jefferson University and the Associate Director for Community Outreach and Engagement at the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center at Jefferson. She leads a portfolio of externally funded research in the areas of cancer communication, community engagement, and cancer disparities. She has been partnering with Dr. Veda Giri on research related to increasing awareness and uptake of prostate cancer genetic testing for at-risk and underserved populations for the past 7 years, receiving funding from the Department of Defense, the Prostate Cancer Foundation, Pfizer, Inc. and others.
