Director, East Coast Metro Chapter
ZERO Prostate Cancer
Woman with dark long brown hair smiling

Originally from Doylestown, PA, Corinne has proudly called the DC metro area home for the past decade.  She holds a bachelors degree in Sociology and a minor in Women and Gender Studies from James Madison University. Her impressive career in the nonprofit sector spans a decade, with a primary focus on fundraising for the last 8 years. Notable highlights from her professional journey include her role as a Philanthropy Officer at MedStar Health in Washington, D.C., where she honed her expertise in Major Gift fundraising for the hospital. Prior to that, she served as the Donor Development Manager at the March of Dimes. In addition, she spent 4 years as a Community Development Manager at the American Cancer Society, a position she particularly cherishes due to her deep personal connection to breast cancer. During her tenure, she orchestrated the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk of Washington, D.C., a role that intricately blended fundraising and event logistics.

Corinne’s passion for ZERO’s mission to end prostate cancer stems from personal experiences. She witnessed the devastating impact of prostate cancer on individuals and their families firsthand, having lost her grandfather to the disease at the age of 65 and her father’s diagnosis at the young age of 47. In light of her family’s history, Corinne is a strong advocate of early detection and regular screenings.

When she’s not making strides in her professional life, Corinne enjoys quality time with her two dogs: Jack, a spirited Belgian Malinois, and her charming puppy, Mila. Her status as a self-proclaimed foodie leads her to try new foods and restaurants around the city. If she has a spare moment, she squeezes a workout in on her Peloton bike. Her first trip out of the country to Iceland has ignited a deep wanderlust as she aspires to travel more in the future.
