CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) — A professor from the UVA School of Nursing is studying how an interactive decision-making tool can help patients diagnosed with prostate cancer.
Dr. Randy Jones, a professor of nursing, says he started his study in 2016. The tool is delivered on an electronic device and consists of a balance sheet that weighs in on three different choices which includes starting, changing and ending a cancer treatment.
